The San Francisco Bay Area has a plethora of grassroots community based organizations (CBO) providing a wide range of social and human services.  Yet many of the employees of these agencies who have devoted their lives to serving others have little or no access to comprehensive financial planning. Similarly many CBO directors and employees realize that their client service model would be greatly enhanced by providing financial literacy and education. Yet more often than not, CBOs are reluctant to explore financial planning because they have little knowledge of, or confidence in the financial services community.   Sage Financial Solutions seeks to  foster trust between CBOs and the financial planning community by providing unbiased planning, financial literacy workshops, and a cadre of trained volunteers prepared to support their efforts to guide their clients toward self-sufficiency.  We collaborate with community based organizations to identify the need for financial planning for their staff and their constituencies.
